Axle keys are utterly essential to almost all go-kart drive wheel systems. Our 1/4″ x 1/4″ x 3-1/8″ key stock is a great value in go-kart parts, especially if you don’t mind cutting it to the right length to fit your axle shaft keyways.

The 3-1/8″ length means that you can easily get three or four usable axle keys out of this one stock piece. Of course, you will have to cut your key to size. The best way is to simply chuck it up tight in a vise and cut off the excess with a hacksaw. Be sure to slightly chamfer the two ends with a file to remove any burrs left from the cutting.
